This project involves the construction of several new buildings on a 17.3-acre site, including four new buildings: 1. Museum and Exhibit Bldg. (10,939SF), 2. Administration Bldg. (4,296 SF), 3. Storage Garage (636 SF) and 4. Picnic Pavilion (2,690 SF). The project was certified LEED Silver.
The buildings were designed to visually complement the history and life of Harriet Tubman.
W.M. Schlosser contracted BMC to provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control Management Services, including a Quality Control Manager, material testing, and providing LEED services. We also provided Safety Management. Quality Control activities included submittals/shop drawing review, RFI review, field inspections, coordination and scheduling of all required material testing and inspections by the testing agency, and LEED testing and inspections.
