Brewington Management Company, LLC is a woman and minority-owned and operated, Construction Management and General Contracting Company, specializing in Commercial, Government, and Heavy Construction. Brewington Management offers a range of services that are uniquely tailored to our client’s specific needs. We can represent the Project Owner to coordinate with the Design Team, including Architects and Engineers, General Contractors, and Trade Contractors on all aspects of the work. As Construction Managers, Brewington Management is actively involved in design review, construction, value engineering, and quality control. Brewington Management is persistent in monitoring all aspects of the project, from design inception through construction and Owner occupancy. As the Lead on Design-Build Projects, Brewington Management will employ exceptional professionals from the design and construction sectors, while assisting our clients in deciding on design issues as well as issues related to cost, profits, and time requirements.

Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitors Center

The high profile $13.9 Million Dollar Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Visitors Center consists of the construction of several new buildings on a 17.3-acre site. There are four new structures: An Exhibit Building; an Administration Building; a Storage Garage; and a Picnic Pavilion. Brewington Management Company was contracted by the W.M. Schlosser Company to provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control Management Services including material testing and providing LEED services. We are also providing Safety Management.

Major trades involved include excavation and utilities; pavement; landscaping; cast-in-place concrete; masonry; structural steel and miscellaneous metals; carpentry and millwork; metal wall panels and siding; roofing; curtain walls; drywall and acoustical; painting; fountains; HVAC and plumbing; sprinkler; and electrical.

Range at Gunpowder Military Reservation in Maryland

Brewington Management Company is providing Construction Management Services to the W.M. Schlosser Company to build a Superimposed Pistol/Military Police Range at the Gunpowder Military Reservation for the Maryland National Guard.

This design-build project is to construct a Fully Baffled, Superimposed Stationary Target Combat Pistol/Military Police Qualification Range and Automated Target Combat Pistol and Military Police Qualification Range Complex. The project also includes the expansion of the existing pistol range into a 10 Meter/25 Meter zero rifle range complex at the Maryland Army National Guard’s Training Site. The project overlays an existing range with a fully baffled structure. The intent is to construct a combined pistol range that will support a 25 Meter Stationary Target Combat Pistol Qualification Range and a 31 meter Automated Target Military Police Combat Pistol Qualification Range.

Design and Construction of Superimposed 
Pistol/Military Police Range

Description: This design-build project to construct a Fully Baffled, Superimposed Stationary Target Combat Pistol/ Military Police Qualification Range (CATCD17821) and Automated Target Combat Pistol/ Military Police Qualification Range (CATCD17822) Complex (Range 3) and the expansion of the existing pistol range into a10M/25M Zero Rifle Range (CATCD17801) Complex (Range 4) at the Maryland Army National Guard’s (MDARNG) Training Site, 10901 Notchcliff Road, Glen Arm, Maryland 21057-9998. Project overlays the existing rifle range with a fully baffled structure (zero surface danger zone, SOZ). The intent is to construct a combined pistol range that will support a 25-meter Stationary Target Combat Pistol Qualification Range and a 31-meter Automated Target Military Police Combat Pistol Qualification Range. The ranges will be supported by a “Range in a Box (RIAB)” target system (NIC), and removable stationary targets.

Largo Water Treatment Facility

Description: This $2.6M project involves the construction of a new water treatment building located at WMATA’s Largo Operations and Maintenance Building. The site work includes excavation, utilities, paving and SWM rain garden. Key trades for the building work include concrete; masonry; steel; green roofing; FRP gratings and rails; process mechanical equipment and piping and instrumentation; electrical and photovoltaic.

Consultant Services Provided: Brewington Management Company was contracted by W.M. Schlosser to provide Construction Management Services.

(4,296SF), 3.Storage Garage (636SF) and 4.Picnic Pavilion (2,690SF). WMATA Railshop Equipment Rehabilitation
Description: This $25M project involves structural modifications and railshop equipment at six WMATA Maintenance Facilities. Major trades include selective demolition, excavation, hazardous soil removal, sheeting and underpinning, concrete, miscellaneous metals, fireproofing, and special coatings. Major equipment purchases and installation include top-running overhead cranes, jib cranes, wheel press, wheel truing equipment and mobile railcar movers.

Consultant Services Provided: Brewington Management Company was contracted by W.M. Schlosser to provide Safety Management Services for this Project.

MTA Bus Main Shop

Description: This $27.5M project involves the replacement of existing underground and aboveground steel piping for gaseous oxygen with new aboveground schedule 40 stainless steel piping. Other work includes the replacement of evaporators and upgrades to the instrumentation. Major trades include selective demolition, asbestos, and lead abatement, removal of contaminated soils, micro-piles, concrete, masonry, miscellaneous metals, roofing, painting, cryogenic system equipment, and electrical.

Consultant Services Provided: Brewington Management Company was contracted by W.M. Schlosser to provide Safety Management Services for this Project.

Client: Homeland Security Construction Corp. (HSCC)

Brewington Management Company was contracted as a Construction Manager for the following projects. Brewington Management Company was subsequently contracted to create Job Schedules for the Estimating Department and existing Projects. Brewington Management Company provided Project Management training to their Project Managers and Superintendents on topics including Scheduling, Project Start-Up, and Project documentation controls.

VA Hospital Patient Safety Improvements 
Phase II, Salem VA

Description: This project included renovations to two floors of an occupied Psychiatric Ward of a VA Hospital. The project included a complete Anti Suicide renovation to the patient bedrooms and bathrooms. The bedroom renovation work included new windows, doors & hardware, removal of room features, and new demountable partitions. The bathroom renovation included new institutional bathroom fixtures, accessories, and bathroom doors.

Richmond Federal Office Building Lobby Renovation Project

Description: This project included renovations to an existing occupied federal Office Building Lobby including a new Storefront System, a structural glass wall system, new millwork, and marble features, exterior paving and handrails, exterior light features, and an upgraded electrical and security system.

Brewington Management Company was contracted to provide senior management oversight to ongoing Construction Projects in their Connecticut branch office. Subsequently, Brewington Management Company was also contracted to be the Head of Estimating and to provide oversight to their Corporate Office. Brewington Management Company also provided training to Project Managers and Superintendents. Responsibilities as the Head of Estimating included review and evaluation of all Bids, preparation of Technical Proposals, and review of Subcontractor bidding proposals.

Description: SEKTECH CORP is contracted by the Department of Veteran Affairs to design, furnish and install several modular facilities for the business units and Safety Office of the VAMC West Haven CT Campus via design/build.

SEKTECH CORP is also contracted by the Department of Veteran Affairs to upgrade three existing pharmacies to be USP 797 compliant. The major scope of work here consists of Project Design (30/60/90 percent development), Asbestos Abatement, selective Demolition, miscellaneous Site Work, Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, Drywall, Painting, etc.

SEKTECH also has several ongoing environmental remediation projects involving Asbestos, Lead, and Mold.
